A few of our Waterloo Engines

Tammy's 3 HP CMC Wonder

Believe it or not, I gave her this for a birthday present. Of course I had just bought a wreck of an old jetboat the night before. I even put a bow on it!

Here is the latest addition to our Waterloo collection

2 HP P.J. Downes  - a jobber engine built for P.J. Downes. Original manufactuer, no other than Waterloo Gas Engine Co. By the looks of the castings and the Webster magneto it was a late Waterloo engine, right around when John Deere bought them out. Bought it summer of 2001 and found it across the street from where William Galloway had lived.  For those who don't know, Galloway and Waterloo were competitors in the same business in the same county.

Here are a few pictures of Dad's 3 cubic foot CMC (Construction Machinery Corporation) Wonder Mixer. It was built in Waterloo also but with a Wisconsin built engine. It has a 1-1/2 HP Fuller & Johnson model N. As you can see it was the typical basket case.

This was my first big engine project. A 6 HP Associated. Truly a BIG BLOCK engine. 5" bore x 8.5" stroke. You do the math.

Now I need to dig up some before pictures.
