The rebuild an old tired Ford 460
After a trip to the machine shop, different set of heads, and a .030" bore job it is home again. The heads were junk both had 2 cracks. And to think that some people actually paid extra for water injection systems! Now comes the painting process. My paint booth is the back yard so I have to get on it before the snow flies! Here are a couple of pictures. The intake sure looks nice but I am hoping to go aluminum if I can find one that is low enough to fit under the hatch.
